About The Position

BAE Systems is hiring manufacturing assembly operators for its Military Flight Controls Clean Room department. The role involves building precise electronic sensor assemblies for military applications, including small electromechanical gyros and sensor assemblies. Work includes soldering, bonding, wiring, and inspection, following defined work instructions with a high level of attention to detail. The work is performed onsite in a humidity- and temperature-controlled manufacturing environment and requires extensive work under a microscope.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Two years of assembly experience.
Ability to spend extensive time looking through a microscope.
Soldering experience.
Hand-to-eye coordination.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to work on computers, including Microsoft Office.
Ability to pass a visual acuity (VAST) test at the time of hire.

Nice To Haves

Soldering experience and certifications, such as J-STD-001 or IPC 610.

Responsibilities
