About The Position

Assembler I maintains the assembly, disassembly, and repair of blowers and electrical components. This role involves completing diagnostics and troubleshooting, filling out work order forms for necessary parts to ensure continuous production, and contributing to overall team efforts. The position requires operating machinery and various tools, adhering to standard operating procedures, making adjustments to meet product specifications, and performing equipment changes as needed. Additionally, the Assembler I is responsible for maintaining equipment, managing inventory levels to prevent production slowdowns, and ensuring adherence to ISO and FDA regulations. The role also involves interpreting and implementing oral and written directions to complete work orders and maintain production flow.

Requirements

  • Must use critical thinking to make independent decisions.
  • Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
  • Manage inventory to eliminate production slowdown and/or stoppages.
  • Use quality control methods and physical inspection of in-progress and finished products.
  • Willingness to take direction, accept constructive criticism, and fit into the current work environment.
  • Ability to read a pressure gauge and a thermos-anemometer.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains the assembly, disassembly, and repair of blower and electrical components by operating machinery; using an air compressor, riveter, multiple types of crimpers for wires, solder gun/iron, hand tools, tape measure or ruler, and wire stripping machine.
  • Operates within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and makes adjustments as necessary to produce product within specifications.
  • Performs equipment changes as necessary and completes daily production documentation.
  • Completes diagnostics and troubleshooting on equipment by analyzing operational issues.
  • Ensures the efficiency and quality of assembly by maintaining equipment and inventory levels.
  • Adheres to ISO and FDA regulations.
  • Completes work order forms for parts needed to keep production running by reading, listening, interpreting, and implementing both oral and written directions from a variety of sources.
