About The Position

The Assembler is responsible for performing assembly line tasks as well as identifying areas of improvement to increase efficiency. They verify the correct quantities of components parts and quality checking completed items, manage parts inventory and use hand tools and mechanical equipment to produce structurally sound products and structures. In addition, the Assembler will have a commitment to, and support of the Company Core Values are key to success in this position.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or other related fields
  • Familiarity with assembly tools and equipment
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Ability to work well in teams
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have the knowledge and experience necessary for the position.
  • Must be able to follow instructions and procedures and work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be capable of reading drawings and inspecting the work being performed.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 6 months related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to speak and understand basic safety and manufacturing instructions.
  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers.
  • Ability to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • To conform to U.S. export control regulations, you should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government.

Responsibilities

  • Experience with Calipers/Micrometers, part marking, and riveting
  • Machine Shop experience a plus
  • Assembly experience a plus
  • Work with a team to assemble entire products or components
  • Rotate through tasks for specific production processes
  • Conduct quality inspections on products and parts
  • Prepare finished products for shipment
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area
  • Uphold the company core values
