E-ONE manufactures custom and commercial fire trucks including pumpers and tankers, aerial ladders and platforms, rescues of all sizes, quick attack units, industrial trucks, and ARFF (aircraft rescue firefighting vehicles). Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems (12V DC & 110V AC)
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly processes
  • Ability to interpret engineering documentation independently.

  • Familiarity with hydraulic systems

Responsibilities

  • Performs a wide range of assembly and troubleshooting tasks with moderate independence.
  • Independently read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and schematics.
  • Assemble and install harnesses, switch panels, and electrical and mechanical components.
  • Program lighting systems per engineering specifications.
  • Troubleshoot 12V DC and 110V AC systems.
  • Perform repairs and rebuilds on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Conduct functional testing and diagnose faults.
  • Trace wiring, repair connections, and replace components as needed.
  • Perform equipment setup and changeovers.
  • Identify discrepancies in prints, BOMs, and shop orders.
  • Maintain high quality and productivity standards.
  • Participate in LEAN and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrate flexibility across work areas.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
