About The Position

Assembler I perform tasks that are necessary to the production process. Under direct supervision, performs routine and repetitive assembly operations and processes while keeping safety and quality top priority.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent and less than one year of experience.
Use tools to make or repair parts and products.
Interpret technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, blueprints, or other verbal or written instructions such as standard work.
Work with other members of the line or group in order to assemble products.
Keep a clean and tidy workspace.
Meet all safety requirements of the company and industry.
Ability to use reason to solve problems as they arise.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Ability to stand continuously for up to 10 hours per day.
Attention to detail.
Excellent hand-eye coordination.

Nice To Haves

Previous manufacturing assembler experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Efficiently pack customer orders ensuring the correct parts and quantities are included.
Select applicable packaging (box/container) for the order, insert applicable packaging material, construct and seal once completed.
Affix packaging label to the outside of the package.
Follow detailed instructions to meet safety and quality requirements.
Requires use of a few simple hand tools (wrenches, screw drivers, torque gun, scissors, box cutter.).
Comprehend and follow detailed verbal or written instructions, as well as diagrams, blueprints, and other technical documents.
Identify any defective items and handle them according to established procedures.
Be a team player who is willing to work with those in their assigned lines or groups and willing to flex to other areas to meet customer demand/order completion.
Assist in physical inventories.
Maintain a clean, neat, orderly, and safe work area.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
