About The Position

This position is part of Evident Inspection Technologies division, which delivers solutions to complex challenges by inspecting mission-critical assets and infrastructure. The division leverages nondestructive testing, remote visual inspection, and analytical instruments to support maintenance, manufacturing, and environmental applications. Electronic Assembler I is an entry-level assembler position performing a wide variety of mechanical assembly operations. Follows methods and sequence of operations in assembling cables, soldering, bonding, limited testing and manufacturing of transducers. Ability to follow procedures and drawings.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Typically requires less than 1 year of related experience.
  • Good manual dexterity

  • Must be a highly organized, self-managed individual who works independently with minimum supervision and the ability to work in a fast paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with hand soldering and using a microscope is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Acquire all established health and safety rules.
  • Acquire job skills and learn company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks and adherence to production plan schedule while producing high quality products to standards.
  • Adhere to policy and procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Work on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment. Has little or no role in decision-making.
  • Normally receives detailed instructions on all work. Work under close supervision.
  • Act as champion of the company’s Lean and Continuous Improvement programs.
  • Time and attendance are in accordance with company policies, procedures and work area schedule.
  • Complete work orders on schedule to ensure a constant flow of product and to maintain efficiencies.

  • Performs routine hands on assembly tasks in the manufacture of Eddy Current probes, Ultrasonic transducers or BondMaster sensors.
  • Demonstrate basic understanding of Eddy Current, Ultrasonic or BondMaster inspection methods and its application in the sensor assembly process
