About The Position

Work in / support production of subassemblies of DME in a team manufacturing environment. Read and understand work instruction / assembly instructions. Interface with ERP system to log assembly transactions. Position of align components and parts either manually, with hoists, fixture, or other assembly aid. Use hand tools, power tools or chains to assemble parts. Ability to conduct quality control checks. Clean and maintain work area, tools, and fixtures. Work with inventory control personnel, QA, Leads and Supervisors as needed. General understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) Participate and apply training as required. Follow process and procedures as directed.

Requirements

  • Organization skills
  • Ability to read and understand Engineering drawings and follow work instructions and update as required.
  • Ability to work independently or as a member of the team
  • Ability to work while standing for several hours, including a full shift, if required.
  • Ability to assist and move items or material up to 70 lbs (one piece) with aid.
  • Ability to move equipment / pallets with add of lifting device.
  • Assembly experience.
  • Follow safety guidelines.
  • Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools.
  • ERP Experience (Odoo is preferred)
  • Experience in MS Office suite of systems
  • Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 70 lbs. with or without assistance.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position, bend, and lift.
  • Must be able to work a full shift standing if required.
  • Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, which may include exposure to machinery, noise, and various manufacturing processes.
