About The Position
The Medical Device Assembler performs a variety of assembly operations in our clean room or fiber optic rooms. Tasks include assembly of hooks, cutters, tubing, sealing, bonding, brush assembly, inspection, and working with fiber optic material. Assemblers will be able to complete the following: Essential Functions Read a ruler or tape measure and cut fiber to specific measurements. Follow work instructions & pay attention to detail Be able to read some drawings Use a microscope for some operations Be able to follow written and verbal instructions Able to complete manufacturing documents Maintain a clean and safe environment Use some hand and power tools Has some understanding of product flow. Perform job tasks in the clean room assembly area, including assembly of iris retractors, cutters, sealing, bonding, and inspection or perform 1-3 operations in the fiber assembly area, including polish, needle, press, epoxy and test. Nice To Haves
- 1-3 years manufacturing assembly experience
- Has some experience with Medical Manufacturing products or something similar
