About The Position
Veranda Luxury Pontoons is seeking an Assembler to help build premium all-aluminum pontoon boats. The role performs varied assembly tasks with precision and attention to quality, including installing components and systems, finishing fiberglass, and supporting production workflow. The assembler also identifies rail defects before paneling and collaborates with the production team to maintain smooth operations.
Requirements
- Knowledge of DC electrical and wiring systems.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions, including bending, climbing, standing, and stooping.
- Ability to operate hand tools such as drills, hole saws, screw guns, and pliers.
- Thoroughness.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a hands-on attitude.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with electrical wiring, component assembly, or marine rigging; training may be provided.
- Comfort programming or troubleshooting electronic units.
- Familiarity with hand tools and with cutting, drilling, buffing, or polishing fiberglass.
Responsibilities
- Cut and drill holes in fiberglass components as needed for installation.
- Install dash components, including gauges, switches, and trim panels.
- Mount and connect audio systems and GPS/fish-finder equipment.
- Program GPS head units.
- Assemble and rig engine controls and steering systems.
- Buff and polish fiberglass components.
- Install furniture components, speakers, lights, and wiring harnesses.
- Ensure installations and finishes meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with the production team and maintain workflow.
- Identify defects in rails before paneling.
