About The Position

Advanced Assembly, Inc. (AAI), located in University Research Park on the west side of Madison, is looking to add Assemblers to our well-trained and experienced staff. Advanced Assembly, Inc. is an electronics manufacturing services provider of electronic assemblies and products, including the Captioned Telephone (CapTel). Our exceptional reputation has been earned through the years, based on production capability, reliability, and quality. These full-time positions offer a second shift schedule of Monday - Thursday, 2:45 PM - 12:45 AM, a competitive starting wage and a full benefits package. Wage depending on experience. New Employees - Sign-On Bonus: The company is offering a $1,500 sign-on bonus to newly-hired, full-time employees. Job Summary: The Assembler I position is responsible for performing routine, repetitive assembly tasks to produce products that meet established quality standards and specifications. This entry-level position requires attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and a commitment to maintaining consistent production output.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED preferred.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand both verbal and written instructions in the English language.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail (working with small electronic parts).

Responsibilities

  • Assemble products and sub-assemblies according to written documentation.
  • Test functional performance of assemblies using various meters and test equipment.
  • Move material to and from work area.
  • Minimal soldering of components may be required.
  • Utilize small hand tools, jigs, and fixtures.
  • Package product per process instructions.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by primary supervisor.
