Scheduled overtime as business conditions require Responsibilities: Assist in the manufacture and shipment of quality products by assembling, painting, selecting, preparing, inspecting, moving, storing, transferring, packaging and accounting for materials; prepare, inspect and pack materials, operate and inspect vehicles and related equipment used to move, store, assemble and transfer materials, use manual and electronic means to identify, count, issue, receive and store materials for inventory purposes, to perform any related task as determined by supervision. Know and follow all reliability procedures, process control requirements, test procedures and job description cards in relation to the work being performed. Know and follow proper safety procedures and use prescribed safety equipment in relation to the work being performed. Report in an orderly and accurate manner the work performed, the findings or results of inspections, and the time and materials used in the completion of assigned work. Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition and ensure that materials and tools are returned to proper storage and that all waste and debris are removed upon completion of assigned work. Immediately report to your Superintendent or Supervisor any injury, unsafe act or condition, or any failure or imminent failure of plant equipment. Perform your duties in such a manner as to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the Facility and the continuation of the Victaulic Company as a clean and safe place of employment. Practice good communication with engineers, planners and supervisors to ensure product quality and continuous, trouble-free operation are maintained. Actively participate in SRP, VPDS and any other Company initiatives designed to improve workplace efficiency, eliminate waste and improve quality. Why Victaulic?
