Requirements

  • High School Degree
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions
  • Proven work experience as an assembler
  • Ability to read tape measures and perform simple math
  • Ability to operate table saws, chop saws, pneumatic nail and staple guns
  • Good organizational skills
  • Prior forklift experience
  • Ability to work flexible schedule

Responsibilities

  • Performs light assembly of products, including assembly of cartons and packing orders.
  • May float between departments in the production area.
  • Works in the fabrication shop performing basic carpentry, using hand tools.
  • Drives a forklift.
  • Understands all training and safety instructions associated with the process the employee is assigned to perform.
  • Follows job instructions as posted at assembly site or in Document Control Center.
  • Performs light assembly.
  • Refers to and follows work order instructions before, during, and after processing any order.
  • Performs general carpentry work using hand tools.
  • Refers to the Plan Manager or Shop Supervisor for any questions regarding assembly/fabrication operations, safety, process, or quality concerns.
