About The Position

Employees working 2nd shift are eligible for a $1.00 per hour shift differential, while employees working 3rd shift are eligible for a $1.50 per hour shift differential. It is the responsibility of Assembler, Elements I to perform a variety of functions and operations involved in the fabrication of high-quality filter elements and components.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • Ability to follow written, verbal, diagram, and schedule-based instructions.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions finished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Must adhere to all safety rules in effect for the location while performing job responsibilities, including customer and supplier locations.
  • Must meet requirements for personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements in designated manufacturing areas, including safety shoes and safety glasses.
  • When working off-site, the employee is expected to comply with site-specific safety requirements and instructions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • ERP experience is preferred; SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform operations at all production assembly workstations, including but not limited to, media rolling and seaming, end capping and adhesive dispensing, production marking using the Barracuda machine, gasketing/O-ring assembly, packing, and inspection and testing of assemblies.
  • Comply with all assembly Standard Operating Procedures, including E-Media and Z-Media requirements.
  • Work efficiently and accurately to meet established production schedules.
  • Accurately enter quantity completion data for each job on designated forms or into ERP system as directed.
  • Cross train on different job tasks within the department.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 6S practices.
  • Follow all safety policies and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Work overtime as needed to meet operational demands.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
