About The Position

We are seeking a hard-working and reliable assembler with mechanical assembly experience to join our growing operation. In this role, you will work in our manufacturing department, operating machines and setting production needs. Under the supervision of the warehouse manager, you will be responsible for operating one or more types of CNC production equipment. You will select appropriate settings and make adjustments as necessary to complete tasks accurately, according to specification, and in a timely manner. You should have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the machining field, and be able to use common small measuring devices. You will perform work to instructions and pre-established guidelines for the job, and follow established quality and safety standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Solid work history that demonstrates reliability.
  • Able to work on your feet for 8-hour shifts and lift 30-70 lbs. regularly.
  • Basic computer skills for maintaining inventory logs and databases.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Submit to Drug Screen and Background Search.
  • Able to follow directions and work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Able to use common shop measuring devices; make required measurements using various measuring and test equipment.
  • Be able to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Be able to follow Company and general industry safety requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Mechanical assembly experience.
  • Warehouse work experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Operating one or more types of CNC production equipment.
  • Selecting appropriate settings and making adjustments as necessary to complete tasks accurately, according to specification, and in a timely manner.
  • Using common small measuring devices.
  • Performing work to instructions and pre-established guidelines for the job.
  • Following established quality and safety standards.
  • Consistently lifting up to 75lbs.
  • Assembling hydraulic cylinders, by adding and connecting components.
  • Following Company and ISO processes and standards.
  • Following basic safety and quality procedures.
  • Repetitive bending, lifting, reaching, stooping, walking; non-sedentary.
