About The Position

Graco manufactures and markets premium equipment to move, measure, control, dispense and spray a wide variety of fluid and powder materials. This role is responsible for efficiently assembling and packing final and sub-assemblies for customers while meeting on-time deliveries, Graco Quality Standards and efficiency standards. The position also requires effective communication with all members of the Production Call and other Cells/Factories.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Basic Math, Basic Blueprint, and Measurement Skills for Manufacturing Assessments.
Ability to perform continuous short-cycle work with required lifting up to 40 lbs
Ability to efficiently perform basic assembly from detailed instructions and prints
Ability to add and subtract decimals or fractions and work from operation layouts and written instructions.
3-6 months experience in manufacturing assembly operations.
Frequent lifting up to 40 pounds.
Constant periods of walking and/or standing.
Repetitive use of arms/wrists and hands for grasping and gripping.
Regular repetitive bending and twisting of the back, up to 90 degrees.
Lifting and reaching from floor to waist, waist to chest and above the shoulder frequently.
Correctable vision.

Responsibilities

Assemble and pack both sub-assemblies and completed assemblies with supervision and training
Maintain required work efficiency and productivity on assigned work station/assembly position.
Monitor daily quality of assemblies and communicate any discrepancies.
Participate in problem-solving to continually improve the quality of assemblies and processes.
Utilize Manufacturing ERP and other manufacturing operating systems to report information on quality, delivery, and cost.
Other duties as assigned.
