About The Position

Rockwell Automation is seeking a full-time manufacturing Assembler level 3 for their Motion department on the 1st Shift (M-Th, 5:30 AM – 3:30 PM) at their Twinsburg, OH production facility. This is an on-site position. The role involves performing repetitive assembly of pre-engineered electro-mechanical equipment control modules using documented work instructions, standards, and bill of materials for light assemblies on pre-determined assignments at various workstations. Overtime, typically 10 hours per week, is an essential function of this position, though actual hours may vary.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Must not require sponsorship for employment visas, now or in the future.

Typically requires 2 years of previous related experience.

Responsibilities

Perform repetitive assembly of pre-engineered electro-mechanical equipment control modules.
Use documented work instructions, standards, and bill of materials for light assemblies on pre-determined assignments at a variety of workstations.
Read, follow, and execute tasks per sequence defined by electronic or hardcopy drawings and work instructions.
Follow standardized methods of work to accomplish an established set of assembly tasks.
Assemble components and sub-assemblies in an assembly line fashion per specific defined process and in defined time frame.
Work from elevated surfaces.
Read electrical schematics, standard component placements, and assemble from workmanship standards and guidelines.
Work from established product bill of materials, wiring schematics, and layout drawings of products manufactured and previously manufactured products from a variety of Manufacturing Operations facilities.
