This is a full-time manufacturing Assembler level 3 position on the 2nd Shift (M-F, 2:00PM - 10:00PM) in the Remanufacturing department. The role involves performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or subassemblies. This includes determining and following methods and sequences of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing. The position requires making setups and adjustments while holding tolerances to blueprint specifications. The role also involves repetitive assembly of pre-engineered electro-mechanical equipment control modules, working from hard copy and electronic assembly documentation, and following established sequencing of hardware and wiring installations using predefined tools and fixtures. Additional duties include providing manufacturing order support (engraving, labels, reports), handling heavy gauge electrical wiring and plumbing routing and assembly, evaluating unique assembly and disassembly requirements, preparing an approach based upon safe work practices, cleaning modules, restoring painted surfaces, and performing general preparation prior to product shipment. The position takes direction from manufacturing team leads, follows instructions from a Tester for rework of product test anomalies, and assesses products returned from customers for service and plans restoration of control modules. The working environment is a standardized assembly with paced productivity requirements. The position is held to the highest standards in compliance with safety, quality, delivery, productivity, procedures, policies, and metrics. Overtime is an essential function of this position.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
Read, follow, and execute tasks per sequence defined by electronic or hardcopy drawings and work instructions.
Follow standardized methods of work to accomplish an established set of assembly tasks.
Assemble components and sub-assemblies in an assembly line fashion per specific defined process and in defined time frame.
Use tools including Component Lead Cutters and Crimpers, Forming and Insertion Press Fixtures, Wire Strippers, Wire Luggers, Hand Tools, Fully Automated Test Systems, Torque Drivers, Lifting Fixtures, and Hoist & Crane.
Comfortable working from elevated surfaces.
Ability to operate independently and productively with minimum supervision.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Demonstrated understanding of, and ability to perform, reading of electrical schematics, standard component placements, assembly from workmanship standards and guidelines.
Demonstrated understanding and logical approach to analyses and problem solving techniques.
Work from established product bill of materials, wiring schematics, and layout drawings of products currently manufactured and previously manufactured products from a variety of Manufacturing Operations facilities.
Basic computer literacy.
Basic ability to read, write and speak English.

Works with continuous leadership in a production environment, adhering to the highest standards in safety, quality, delivery, productivity, procedures, policies, and metrics.
Performs overtime as required, which typically requires 8-10 hours of overtime per week.
