Requirements

High school education required, technical school preferred.
Working knowledge of precision assembly techniques.
Working knowledge of basic mechanical principles.
Ability to read assembly drawings.
Ability to use measuring equipment.
Working knowledge of metric system required.
Basic computer skills required.
Must be able to work in a team environment to achieve tight deadlines.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of electrical principals is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform assembly involving mechanical and electrical operations on highly complex, intricate, and precise assemblies or sub-assemblies for packaging equipment.
Perform operations incidental to assembly which require a high level of skill and expertise.
Work from extensive specifications and diagrams.
May plan and lay out work.
Use tools (hand tools, power tools) and a variety of testing, gauging devices, and equipment.
Work to critical tolerances.
May assign, instruct, and check work of others.
Operate within a flexible manufacturing environment where team members may assist other departments as needed.
Perform material movement and Laser/Engraving operations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
