About The Position

This role involves preparing for assembly by studying instructions, blueprints, and parts lists, then gathering necessary components, tools, and materials. The assembler will position parts and subassemblies, ensuring correct fit and secure fastening. They will also verify specifications by measuring completed components for accuracy and compliance.

Requirements

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers and decimals.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring instruments.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Dependable and safety conscious.
  • Stand for extended periods (often 8–12-hour shifts).
  • Walk between workstations or production areas.
  • Bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch as needed.
  • Lift and carry materials (commonly 25–50 lbs.).
  • Push/pull carts or equipment.
  • Handle small parts with precision.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools repeatedly.
  • Fine motor skills for small or detailed components.
  • Perform repetitive assembly tasks.
  • Maintain consistent pace throughout shift.

Nice To Haves

  • MRP (Material Requirements Planning) experience is a plus.
