We are looking for you to join our team as an Assembler 1 to support production and manufacturing operations at our Central Virginia manufacturing facilities. A successful candidate will possess great communication and interpersonal abilities, excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve. They will also learn quickly and work well independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED and a minimum of 0 years of additional experience
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
US citizenship is required.
Ability to lift and move objects, up to 30lbs, from one location to another
The ability to walk, stand, sit, squat, kneel, twist, bend, and reach is required.
Use of both hands for repetitive wrist, hand, and finger motions is required.

Nice To Haves

Work experience in electro-mechanical manufacturing, including wire harness
IPC 610/620 Workmanship Certification
J-STD-001 Certification
Familiar with AS9100D/ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System
Ability to read/understand blueprints/3D models

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
Work from diagrams and drawings, make initial layouts, and use hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.
Make continuity checks on work in process and completed.
May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
Must obtain/maintain workmanship certifications.
