About The Position

This role is responsible for assembling ballistic panels and related components according to work order specifications. The Assembler 1 ensures accuracy in size, color, and order of components, enters data into the computer system, and performs visual inspections. Key tasks include scanning barcodes, verifying information, printing labels and slips, packaging products, and maintaining a safe and clean work area. The position requires attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, and the ability to follow process steps accurately.

Requirements

Ability to ensure all components are correct in size, color and order.
Ability to enter data into the computer system.
Ability to scan ballistic panel barcode and plate.
Ability to verify accuracy of ballistic and information.
Ability to assemble the ballistic following the process steps according to work order specifications.
Ability to print packaging slips.
Ability to insert carrier assembly into the plastic bag, paste label and put carrier in box.
Ability to close the box with tape and insert the packaging list into the envelope.
Ability to perform a visual inspection for accuracy.
Ability to weigh the box and enter the information into the system.
Ability to print the shipping label and tracking and paste onto box.
Ability to confirm label matches the information in the system.
Ability to place the completed box on pallet.
Diligence in attending to details and pursuing quality in accomplishing tasks.
Responsibility for working according to the company’s safety and quality standards.
Ability to maintain a safe and clean work area.
Willingness to perform other related duties as required and or as assigned.
