About The Position
The Assembler 1 is responsible for reading work orders and assembling trucks within the allotted time. This role requires coordination with other departments and the immediate supervisor, as well as responding to inquiries. The position is designated as safety-sensitive, necessitating strict adherence to all company safety policies and procedures, including a zero-tolerance drug and alcohol policy. Successful candidates will be subject to various drug and alcohol tests, including pre-employment, random, post-incident, and reasonable suspicion testing.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient mechanical skills
- 12-volt wiring skills
- Hydraulic plumbing skills
- Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills
- Demonstrated interpersonal relations and communicative skills
- Proficient PC skills including Office products
- Visual and auditory skills

Responsibilities
- Read work orders and assemble trucks in the time allotted by coordinating work within the department, as well as with other departments
- Report pertinent information to the immediate supervisor
- Respond to inquiries or requests for information

- Communicate issues with supervisor and parts attendant
- Assist in training new employees

- Cooperate with, participate in, and support the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the company’s compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Report pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested, or according to an established schedule; compile information as necessary or as directed and provide data to appropriate personnel
- Respond to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, or to requests from customers, other personnel, etc., within given time frames and within established policy
- Perform tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job
