About The Position

Moog Medical Devices Group designs, manufactures, and distributes industry-leading enteral feeding and infusion pumps. These advanced infusion systems improve medication/patient safety, optimize application performance, reduce medical expenses and SAVE LIVES. Our Medical Devices team in Salt Lake City, Utah is looking for a skilled Assembler I – 2nd Shift to join their dynamic team. You will report directly to the Production Supervisor and enjoy an on-site, collaborative work environment.

Requirements

  • 1+ years electro/mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment is required
  • Position requires attention to detail, organized work practices, and good housekeeping skills to maintain a clean work center
  • Must be able to read and work from assembly drawings, worksheets, parts lists, BOM, test specifications, and device instructions, both written and verbal.
  • Prior experience with circuit cards and strong understanding of ESD
  • Must be proficient in basic computer skills, including MS Office

Nice To Haves

  • Technical/Vocational training with high emphasis on mechanical systems preferred
  • Medical Devices experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Setting up, operating, and troubleshooting manufacturing assembly line machinery/equipment
  • Operating machinery/equipment to install a piece/part/component of an in-process product, assembly, or sub-assembly
  • Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods
  • Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products
  • Maintaining accurate daily assembly production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis
  • Cross training on multiple production lines
