About The Position

We are looking for an Assembler 1 to join our Hengstler Dynapar team on 1st shift. This role focuses on hands-on mechanical build and basic electronic testing within a production assembly cell, supporting high-quality, precision manufacturing. This is a 1st shift position, with working hours from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Requirements

Proficient English reading and writing skills; ability to read and comprehend MSDS sheets and standard work instructions.
Manual dexterity and basic mechanical aptitude.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and basic electronic testing equipment.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in an assembly or lean manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs hands-on mechanical assembly of precision components and subassemblies within a production assembly cell.
Builds products to specification using standard work instructions, bills of materials, and basic mechanical drawings as required.
Operates a variety of assembly tools and equipment including small hydraulic presses, air drivers, drill presses, winders, and electronic testing equipment.
Performs basic functional and electrical tests to verify product performance and ensure established quality standards are met.
Verifies correct fit, alignment, and function of components throughout the build process.
Rotates between tasks and work cells as directed by the Supervisor or Cell Leader to support production flow.
Packages completed assemblies for shipment according to work instructions.
Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area and follows all safety and quality procedures.
Actively participates in continuous improvement activities within the assembly cell.
