About The Position

Now Hiring: Asphalt Roller Operator & General Laborer
Would you like to be an owner of our company? We are an employee-owned company (ESOP), and we are seeking a motivated and experienced full time Asphalt Roller Operator & General Laborer to join our dynamic paving and excavating team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating roller equipment to compact pavement to proper density and finish. Your expertise will help deliver high-quality paving projects that meet safety standards and client expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale infrastructure developments while honing your skills in construction machinery operation.

Requirements

• Experience operating an asphalt roller preferred (will train the right candidate).
• Construction, paving, or excavation experience is a plus.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities to coordinate effectively with crew members. • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physical labor.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable insured transportation (CDL is a plus but not required).
• Working cell phone.

Responsibilities

• Operate asphalt roller to compact pavement to proper density and finish.
• Assist paving crew with raking, shoveling, and general site work.
• Support excavation and site preparation tasks as needed.
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance.
• Follow all job site safety requirements and company procedures.
• Work as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
