About The Position
O’Hanlon Paving, a proud member of The Fath Group, is looking for enthusiastic Asphalt Quality Control Persons to work seasonally in a full-time capacity at our various job sites. The successful candidates must be able to align with the company's core values: Commitment, Attitude and Respect.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience with asphalt testing is preferred
- Must have proven ability to be self-motivated and be able to work with limited supervision
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Alberta driver’s license with an acceptable driver’s abstract
- Ability to work long hours/some weekends
- Strong Organization skills, detailed oriented and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude
- Proven customer service ability
- Must have access to a reliable vehicle to commute to site
Nice To Haves
- post-secondary education in a related field (Civil Engineering Technology) is an asset
- Prior experience with road building quality control will be an asset
Responsibilities
- Asphalt Density Testing
- Asphalt Temperature testing
- Coordination with rolling team
- Maintain and perform detailed records
- Other paving crew duties as required on site
