Asphalt Plant Superintendent

Croell•Gillette, WY

About The Position

Croell, Inc. is seeking an experienced, hands-on Asphalt Plant Superintendent to oversee the operation, maintenance, and performance of four hot-mix asphalt plants: three stationary plants and one portable plant. The role supports daily plant operations, supervises and develops plant personnel, assists with equipment repairs and troubleshooting, and works to improve plant efficiency and reliability. The superintendent works directly with plant operators and crews to address operational challenges, implement improvements, coordinate maintenance, and ensure plants are staffed and prepared for production demands. This is a field-focused position involving active participation in plant operations, rather than primarily administrative oversight. The superintendent may operate plants, assist with repairs, train employees, and coordinate maintenance and improvement work. Travel between plant locations and overtime during peak construction season are required. The position reports to the Paving Division Manager and has supervisory responsibility.
