About The Position
Barriere Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking an experienced Asphalt Plant Operator to join its South Shore Asphalt team. The role involves communicating with the Plant Foreman, Superintendent, and other Operators; conducting daily startup, shutdown, and maintenance procedures; and performing equipment inspections. The job requires outdoor work and the ability to operate or work around equipment such as forklifts, loaders, and man-lifts. The position is based in Franklinton.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a road or construction field working outdoors.
- Basic equipment operation skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong mathematical abilities.
- Microsoft Excel skills.
- Reliability.
- Ability to work outdoors.
- Good physical condition.
- Ability to individually lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work from heights up to 60 feet.
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme cold, heat, and humidity.
Responsibilities
