Requirements

3+ years of experience working as an Asphalt Plant Operator
Ensure to do your part to make sure the company can produce NCDOT certified mix in the safest and most cost efficient way possible
Knowledge of proper operation of asphalt plants and accompanying equipment as well as safety standards
Willing to perform some manual labor as needed and directed by supervisor
Deals with co-workers, customer, and public in a respectful manner
Reliable transportation to and from the Mint Hill Asphalt Plant
Valid driver’s license preferred
Physical stamina is required, as you must be able to stand for extended periods and engage in manual labor when necessary.
Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Operate the asphalt plant safely and efficiently, ensuring top-tier production standards.
Take asphalt orders from customers.
Load and ticket trucks.
Manage onsite inventory to streamline operations.
Prepare daily reports and compile tickets to maintain accurate records.
Keep the plant and loader in optimal condition through regular maintenance and cleaning.
