About The Position
Alabama Grading & Excavation / Paving Pros is hiring hardworking, reliable team members for our paving division. We are looking for Laborers and Equipment Operators who take pride in quality work and can perform in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in heat and weather
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
- Team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn
Nice To Haves
- Experience in paving or heavy civil construction preferred but not required for laborers.
Responsibilities
- Assist with asphalt placement, raking, shoveling, and site cleanup
- Operate paving equipment safely and efficiently (for operator roles)
- Follow directions from the foreman and work as part of a coordinated crew
- Maintain a safe, clean, and productive work environment
- Perform basic equipment checks and report issues promptly
