About The Position

Western Engineering Co., Inc. is hiring Crew Members to join our City Streets Asphalt Paving Crew. In this hands-on role, you'll assist with a variety of tasks on asphalt paving projects, helping ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and want to build a career in the construction industry.

Requirements

Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, shoveling, and raking.
Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Commitment to working safely and following established procedures.

Nice To Haves

Previous construction or asphalt paving experience is preferred but not required.
High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with job site preparation for asphalt paving projects.
Help place, spread, and finish asphalt during paving operations.
Support the operation and setup of paving equipment and tools.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Work collaboratively with crew members and supervisors to complete projects on schedule.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
