About The Position

Trueline is seeking an Asphalt Foreman - Operations to join their team in Loveland, Ohio. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys working in the field, leading small crews, and helping build efficient operations within a growing organization focused on quality, safety, and customer service.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience leading small field crews
  • Experience in asphalt maintenance, paving, sealcoating, striping, or related pavement services
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced outdoor environment
  • Customer-facing professionalism and strong verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Ability to pass background check, MVR, and drug screening
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical labor throughout the day

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing pavement maintenance production schedules
  • Familiarity with OSHA 10 safety practices
  • Experience training or mentoring field personnel
  • Mechanical aptitude related to field equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Experience working within growing or entrepreneurial service organizations

Responsibilities

  • Lead and actively participate in daily asphalt maintenance and repair projects
  • Supervise and support crews of 2-3 field employees across multiple job sites
  • Coordinate schedules, workflow, and daily priorities based on weather, staffing, deliveries, and customer needs
  • Communicate professionally with customers regarding project timelines, updates, and service expectations
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards
  • Read and interpret work orders, maps, drawings, and project plans
  • Oversee equipment readiness, inspections, and routine maintenance
  • Operate and maintain equipment including infrared machines, patch trucks, sealcoat rigs, striping machines, and squeegee equipment
  • Complete daily reporting and communicate job progress to leadership
  • Support OSHA and safety compliance initiatives while enforcing PPE and safe operating procedures
  • Train, coach, and motivate field employees to improve productivity and teamwork
  • Troubleshoot field issues and escalate concerns when necessary
