Georgia ASL Interpreter | Part-Time
About The Position
Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking a qualified Sign Language Interpreter to support a student in a Georgia school setting. This part-time position (2 days per week) offers a unique opportunity to provide consistent, individualized support and play a vital role in a student’s daily access to education. In this role, you will work one-on-one with a student, providing interpretation services that support communication, classroom participation, and overall academic engagement. Your presence will help ensure the student can fully access instruction, interact with peers, and thrive in the school environment.
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- EIPA score of 3.6 or higher required (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a school team.
Nice To Haves
- Previous school-based or educational interpreting experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support the student’s academic and social participation.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.
- Facilitate communication between the student, teachers, and peers.
- Provide sign language interpretation during classroom instruction and school activities.
