ASIC Verification Engineer

About The Position

Broadcom's High Speed Interconnect Product (HSIP) Group is seeking a motivated engineer to join their elite team. This role involves verifying silicon that powers the next generation of cloud computing and server virtualization, contributing to the AI and data center revolution. The engineer will work on industry-leading, low-power, high-performance PHYs for the world's fastest networks. The position is open to new graduates with an MSEE/CS or BSEE/CS with 3+ years of experience.

Requirements

MSEE/CS (New Grad) OR BSEE/CS with 3+ years of direct ASIC Design/Verification experience.
Strong grasp of logic design, computer architecture and networking protocols.
Proficiency in HDL languages (SystemVerilog, Verilog, or VHDL).
Experience with scripting (Python, Perl, or TCL) to automate complex workflows.
Quick learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.

Nice To Haves

Strong C/C++ skills
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)

Responsibilities

Develop a deep understanding of the latest IEEE Ethernet protocols.
Design and maintain advanced verification environments and testbench components using SystemVerilog UVM.
Own the verification process at both the block and chip levels to ensure "first-pass" silicon success.
Develop custom scripts and tools to improve verification efficiency and design quality.
Work alongside architecture, design, and firmware teams to bring complex designs from concept to production.
