New Position Be part of the team developing next generation Audio and Always On / Edge AI subsystems and platforms. The ASIC Audio/Edge AI Systems Engineer is responsible for system architecture definition activities supporting a sophisticated multimedia Low Power Audio/Edge AI subsystem across a broad range of mobile, XR, compute, and automotive products. Candidates will be involved in system hardware architecture definition/validation and perform the following tasks: Summary: Capture detailed technology requirements, working closely with product management and engineering teams Oversee hardware architecture for a variety of Edge AI products. Utilize advanced problem solving and ASIC engineering practices to resolve complex architecture, design, or verification problems. Write technical documentation and providing technical expertise for design or project reviews and project meetings. Support dependent system, design, and software teams implementing Edge AI platform solutions. Acting as a technology lead for small to large projects and owning team deliverables for such projects. Responsibilities: Leverage experience in DSP, machine learning algorithms, SoC hardware and computer architecture concepts to develop proposals to address system Edge-AI requirements. Strong knowledge of processor, memory, bus and low-power design techniques is required. Authoring subsystem hardware specifications Drive system optimization and via modelling, system simulation and testing across key criteria to make power and performance trade-offs. Apply expertise in low-power design methodology, optimization and validation using various CAD tools and design techniques to optimize system power. Collaborate, and enable multiple-system teams to realize dependent specifications Post-silicon commercialization support and customer engineering documentation Defining and patenting novel architectures that drive industry leadership. The candidate should be able to: Work independently solving problems even with missing or conflicting information; be able to apply advanced data analysis and interpretation skills. Demonstrate excellent communication skills working with multiple teams including multi-site organizations. Generate and analyze data created through a variety of tools (simulation, synthesis, timing analysis, timing/power/signal integrity analysis) Develop an implementation strategy that meets system requirements, customer needs, and product timelines.
