About The Position

Quest Global is an engineering services provider with over 25 years of experience, focused on making a positive difference through innovation and collaboration. We are seeking an experienced ASIC Salesperson to join our team in the Bay Area. This role involves managing sales cycles, building relationships with key technical decision-makers, and driving business growth within the semiconductor industry, particularly in areas like AI/ML, automotive, communications, datacenters, and IoT. Requirements

  • 15+ years in semiconductor — ideally ASIC design services, IP licensing, or foundry sales
  • Pre-existing relationships at Bay Area chip companies (start-up, Tier-1/2, Hyperscaler, ODM etc.)
  • Technical degree (EE, CE, or similar) strongly preferred
  • Proven success in ASIC/turnkey sales

Responsibilities

  • Own a territory/accounts across Silicon Valley fabless companies, IDMs, and startups
  • Manage long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles (typically 6–18 months for ASIC engagements)
  • Build and manage a qualified pipeline with accurate forecasting
  • Navigate technical decision-makers (VP Engineering, CTO, ASIC leads) of customers
  • Manage ASIC design flow (RTL to GDS, packaging, tape-out, Test, Assembly, Validation, Characterization, Qual)
  • Leverage foundry relationships (TSMC, GlobalFoundries, Samsung nodes)
  • Target verticals — AI/ML, automotive, comms, datacenter, IoT
  • Analyze competitive landscape: who's winning deals and why
