About The Position

C. Harper CDJR - MonValley is seeking an ASE Certified Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles. The technician will work in a professional, fast-paced environment in Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania, and contribute to the dealership’s automotive service team. The role involves diagnosing vehicle issues, completing repairs and routine maintenance, communicating repair needs, documenting work, and ensuring that service meets company quality and safety standards.

Requirements

• ASE Certification required.
• Proven experience as an automotive technician or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and repair procedures.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle issues using computerized equipment and technical manuals.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including engine, brake, suspension, and electrical systems.
• Communicate with service advisors and customers to explain vehicle problems and required repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Ensure all work meets company quality standards and safety regulations.
• Stay updated with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
