About The Position

At Ascentium Capital, the Vendor Program Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of key vendor relationships while driving funded volume through effective program execution. This role operates as a strategic relationship manager at the vendor level, partnering closely with internal sales teams and sales coordinators to deliver a seamless client experience and optimize program performance. Ascentium Capital, a division of Regions Bank, provides convenient access to financing for business equipment and technology and serves small organizations to Fortune 500 companies with programs that benefit manufacturers, distributors and direct to businesses nationwide. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and four (4) years of commercial, small business, equipment financing, or related sales experience
  • Or High School Diploma or GED and six (6) years of commercial, small business, equipment financing, or related sales experience

Responsibilities

  • Manages a portfolio of strategic vendor relationships, serving as the primary point of contact at the program level
  • Builds and maintains executive-level relationships with vendor partners to support long-term growth
  • Drives portfolio performance, including volume growth, retention, and program profitability
  • Oversees vendor program health and ensures alignment with vendor leadership, while driving volume growth through influence, coordination, and execution
  • Partners with Vendor Sales Account Managers and Sales Coordinators to execute transactions and deliver a consistent client experience
  • Oversees and optimizes program structure, workflow, and service delivery across assigned vendors
  • Monitors portfolio performance and identifies opportunities to increase adoption and utilization
  • Ensures alignment between vendor expectations and internal capabilities, resolving issues proactively
  • Provides forecasting, reporting, and insights on vendor activity and growth opportunities
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with credit, operations, and sales leadership teams to enhance program effectiveness
