The ASC Manager runs the business side of a busy, accredited endoscopy center: daily operations, compliance and quality reporting, inventory and supply chain, and the non-clinical team. The manager works closely with the Director of Nursing and clinical leadership, with real ownership and visible impact.

  • Manage vendor relationships, service contracts and equipment maintenance schedules.
  • Coordinate facility maintenance, safety rounds and environment-of-care requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain daily, weekly and monthly compliance metrics, logs and reports for a Joint Commission-accredited facility.

  • Partner with Quality Assurance on QAPI, incident tracking and corrective action, and track infection prevention, reprocessing and equipment competency records with clinical staff.
  • Support credentialing and privileging file maintenance.
  • Lead projects assigned by leadership across Midtown Endoscopy & Surgical Center and Manhattan Gastroenterology that improve efficiency, patient experience and growth.
  • Take projects from idea to results: analyze the current process, recommend improvements, coordinate the teams involved and track outcomes. Examples include streamlining scheduling and patient flow, reducing costs, launching new services and supporting expansion.
  • Own inventory management, including par levels, cycle counts, reorder points, expiration dates and recalls.
  • Manage purchasing, receiving and vendor pricing for medical supplies, pharmaceuticals and general supplies.
  • Control supply cost per case, find savings without compromising clinical standards, and reconcile invoices against the supply budget.
