Asbestos Supervisor
About The Position
The Asbestos Supervisor will lead and supervise multiple asbestos abatement crews on various commercial, industrial, military, and government projects. This role involves coordinating daily job site activities to ensure safe, efficient, and timely project completion, performing hands-on abatement work, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. The supervisor will also be responsible for training crew members, maintaining a safe work environment, and completing necessary documentation. Travel to job sites in the Sanford, NC area is required, and versatility to support other company operations is essential.
Requirements
- Ability to pass an extensive background check for DBIDS for military base access.
- Must have the Real ID.
- Ability to commute to job sites as assigned.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures in construction and abatement environments.
- Dependable, punctual, and adaptable to changing project needs.
- Willingness to perform hands-on labor alongside crew members when necessary.

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise asbestos abatement crews on commercial, industrial, military, and government projects.
- Coordinate daily job site activities for safety, efficiency, and schedule adherence.
- Train and mentor crew members on abatement procedures, safety practices, and company standards.
- Perform asbestos and lead abatement work, including removal, containment, and disposal.
- Set up and oversee containment areas using appropriate equipment.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company safety regulations for hazardous materials.
- Wear, inspect, and enforce the proper use of PPE and respirators.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environments.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, supervisors, clients, and crew members.
- Complete daily reports, safety documentation, time sheets, and compliance paperwork.
- Travel to various job sites across the Sanford, NC area.
- Support other company operations as needed.
