About The Position

Weston Solutions, Inc. is seeking Asbestos Project Monitors / Air Sampling Technicians to serve as technical representatives on asbestos abatement projects across a variety of industries. Requirements

• NYSDOL Asbestos Project Monitor / Air Sampling Technician Certificate
• Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record
• Willingness to travel and work in field-based environments
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• High School diploma, or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Supervise asbestos abatement activities to ensure full compliance with all Federal, State, and Local regulations.
• Perform air monitoring and determine final air clearance upon completion of abatement projects in and around the work area.
• Perform a detailed final visual inspection for the completeness of the abatement and conduct final air clearance.
• Collect PCM and TEM air samples, maintain accurate chain-of-custody documentation, daily logs, and participate in project oversight and result reporting.
• Travel regularly within NYC (must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license).
• Drop off equipment to the office as needed.
• Drop off samples to the laboratory as needed.
• Download information to the office as needed.
• Provide a timesheet on a timely basis and operate timekeeping app efficiently; timesheets submitted every other week for approval by Project Manager.
