About The Position

Perform asbestos and lead abatement, including removal, containment, and proper disposal of hazardous materials on military, industrial, and commercial construction projects. Set up containment areas using plastic sheeting, negative air machines, and decontamination units. Follow all federal, state, and company safety regulations when handling hazardous materials. Wear and maintain proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and respirators at all times on job sites. Assist with demolition and removal of contaminated building materials such as insulation, flooring, and piping. Transport, label, and dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with regulatory guidelines. Maintain a clean and safe work environment within containment zones and surrounding areas. Work closely with supervisors and team members to complete projects efficiently and safely. Travel to various job sites across the Hampton Roads area as assigned (one project at a time).

Requirements

  • Asbestos License or Certification
  • Must be able to pass background checks for military base access.
  • Must have a Real ID.
  • Have a vehicle and ability to drive to project sites within Salisbury, MD and surrounding DE area as assigned.
  • Strong awareness of safety procedures in construction environments
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
