About The Position

This is a rare opportunity for a digital 2D artist to join an impactful, profitable, stable, self-funded studio known for its excellent no-crunch culture. The role involves creating beautiful digital art, including backgrounds, obstacles, props, buttons, characters, logos, icons, and panels, with a focus on color theory, perspective, composition, rendering, and anatomy. The ideal candidate is flexible, iterative, quick, a good listener, and collaborative, with a passion for working on a portfolio of over 30 mobile games that reach tens of millions of players. The company's mission is to bring joy to others, one game at a time.

Requirements

• A portfolio demonstrating a strong grasp of art fundamentals (color theory, perspective, design, anatomy etc)
• B.A. or B.S. in a relevant field (or equivalent studio experience)
• 0-5 years of professional art/illustration (mobile experience or games is not required)
• Expertise with Photoshop & Illustrator (Figma is a plus)
• A growth mindset that embraces continuous learning
• Passion for evergreen games that reach tens of millions
