About The Position

This is a full-time position for an Artisan Baker responsible for preparing, baking, and merchandising all artisan bakery products. The role involves providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and sanitized workstation, and adhering to production schedules and quality specifications. The baker will operate various bakery equipment and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• At least 6-12 months of related experience.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, bake, and merchandise artisan bakery products.
• Provide fast, friendly, and efficient customer service.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation according to 5S standards.
• Follow production lists as developed by management.
• Operate ovens, including loading and unloading procedures.
• Mix, ferment, and mold bread dough to corporate specifications.
• Assist with and/or create customer special orders.
• Operate bakery department equipment, including ovens, mixers, and utensils.
• Adhere to state and corporate safety standards.
• Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
