About The Position
The teacher in this role has the opportunity to foster creativity, artistic expression, and foundational art skills in students from PreK through 8th grade. You will introduce younger students to the basic elements of art such as color, shape, texture, and composition, while helping older students expand their artistic techniques, creativity, and understanding of various art forms and mediums. This role involves creating engaging, hands-on projects that encourage self-expression and build confidence, while also helping to develop and grow the overall art program across the school.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Art Education or related field
- 3 - 5 years of teaching experience required
- Exhibits strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of and proficiency with technology and commitment to the unique role it plays in the education arena of the 21st Century
- Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship

- Teacher credentials, as specified under state regulations, preferred
