Art Teacher (Part-Time)
About The Position
The Amherst-Pelham Regional School District is currently seeking highly qualified candidates for the position of part time Art Teacher at the Pelham Elementary School, which serves students in Grades K-6. It is a .2 fte permanent position. Successful candidates will have working knowledge of the current Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks for Visual Arts at the elementary school level and demonstrated success working in a collaborative educational setting. Having our students connect to real-world problems while examining social justice issues is at the core of our mission. Our art teacher will be part of a dynamic 'specials' team, who work to bring the joy of the arts into our school while helping every child discover the artist within themselves.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of the current Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks for Visual Arts at the elementary school level.
- Demonstrated success working in a collaborative educational setting.
- Current and valid MA DESE certification as an Academic: Teacher, Visual Art, level, PreK-8.

- Bilingual Spanish and bicultural applicants are preferred.
