About The Position
Walsh Intermediate School is seeking an Art Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This position involves successfully implementing a comprehensive art program with high standards for all students in grades 5-8. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of and experience with the developmental needs of middle school students, a strong working knowledge of educational technology, and effective classroom management techniques, particularly those focused on restorative practices and logical consequences.

- Knowledge of, and experience with, the developmental needs of students in grades 5 - 8
- A strong working knowledge of educational technology
- A strong working knowledge of effective classroom management techniques with a focus on restorative practices and logical consequences
