About The Position
Albemarle County Public Schools (ACPS) is seeking an Art Teacher for the Baker-Butler/Woodbrook Elementary School for the 2026-27 School Year. This position is split between two schools: 60% at Baker-Butler Elementary School (BBES) and 40% at Woodbrook Elementary School (WES). ACPS is committed to providing students with authentic, challenging, and relevant learning experiences to foster them into lifelong contributors and leaders. The division actively works to eliminate the predictive value of race, class, gender, and special capacities on student success through high-quality teaching and learning for all. ACPS has implemented an Anti-Racism policy to build school communities that recognize and end racism, eliminate inequitable practices, and support every child's unique gifts and talents. The division's goal is to know every student and ensure that 'all' truly means all.
Requirements
- Hold or be eligible for a Virginia teaching certificate with endorsement to teach Art at the elementary school level.
