About The Position

The Art Supervisor will lead art direction and execution of integrated campaigns across assigned pharma and healthcare brands, ensuring all deliverables align with brand strategy and client objectives. This role involves partnering with Copy Supervisors and cross-functional teams to create compelling content that balances storytelling with scientific accuracy and regulatory compliance. The Art Supervisor will mentor Art Directors and Designers, provide direction and feedback, and guide projects from concept through final production, maintaining high standards of craft and consistency. The position requires translating clinical data, customer insights, and market trends into visual work across various media, including print, digital, social, and omnichannel, while also exploring new creative approaches and technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Advertising, Fine Arts, or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of advertising agency experience, pharma or healthcare marketing preferred
  • A portfolio showing conceptual thinking and integrated campaign work across print, digital, social, and omnichannel
  • Strong visual storytelling instincts grounded in branding, typography, layout, and design fundamentals
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable defending creative rationale to clients directly
  • Proven experience mentoring creative talent while juggling multiple projects in a fast-paced agency environment
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Working knowledge of pharma regulatory review (FDA, OPDP, PAAB, ASC)

  • Guide projects from concept through final production without letting craft or consistency slip
  • Translate clinical data, customer insights, and market trends into visual work across print, digital, social, and omnichannel
  • Push for better, exploring new creative approaches and technologies rather than defaulting to what's safe
