About The Position
This position is for an Art Lab Aide. The employment term is 187 days. The primary purpose of this role is to assist a teacher in the preparation and management of classroom activities and administrative requirements. The aide will work under the supervision of a certified teacher.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Texas educational aide certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- ESSA Criteria (2 years of study at an institution of higher education; an Associate degree or higher; or can pass a formal academic paraprofessional assessment)
- Some experience working with children
- Ability to work well with children
- Ability to communicate effectively
Responsibilities
- Assist teacher in preparation and management of classroom activities
- Assist teacher in administrative requirements
